On August 14, 2025, Northern Kuala Lumpur International College successfully organised a one-week study tour in Zhejiang, China, in collaboration with Hangzhou Vocational & Technical College, fostering cross-border educational cooperation and exchange.

During the program, students visited the OTIS Electromechanical factory, attended thematic sharing sessions, and gained valuable insights into industry operations and development trends. They also participated in practical workshops and escalator safety training arranged by Hangzhou Vocational & Technical College, enhancing both their professional skills and cross-cultural communication abilities.

The program further included cultural activities, where students created traditional sachets, explored West Lake and the Southern Song Imperial Street, and participated in martial arts, tai chi, and table tennis, experiencing the depth and richness of Chinese heritage.

At the closing ceremony, students and lecturers returned with not only hands-on experience but also invaluable exposure to international exchange. The study tour concluded successfully, underscoring NKL’s commitment to creating opportunities that combine academic learning, practical training, and global perspectives. The college looks forward to welcoming more aspiring students to broaden their horizons and take confident steps toward the future.
