Zhejiang Finance College visited Northern Kuala Lumpur International College to participate in a study camp

Zhejiang Financial College visited our Northern Kuala Lumpur International College to participate in a research camp in January 2024, and together, we embarked on a vibrant seven-day, six-night exchange program. Our college was honored to welcome the research group from Zhejiang Financial College, and together, we engaged in a vibrant exchange of ideas. This dynamic moment was filled with joy as we shared our academic passions, strengthened friendships, and broadened our horizons. The organization of this event served not only as a platform for academic exchange but also fostered communication and collaboration between the students and faculty of both institutions.

The activity encompassed various activities, including practical discussions with Malaysian accounting industry executives, English lectures on management and leadership, and academic presentations. These activities provided students with insights into the challenges and opportunities of the international business environment from different perspectives. Additionally, we visited the offices of the Malaysian ACCA Chartered Certified Accountants Association and one of the world’s top five accounting firms, BDO, allowing students to gain first-hand knowledge of the local accounting industry’s development and management practices. Through interactions with industry representatives, we gained valuable insights into the trends, challenges, and opportunities in the Malaysian accounting industry, which will guide our future learning and career pathways. Furthermore, we organized visits to various renowned universities, enabling students to experience the campus atmosphere and teaching environments of different institutions and gain a deeper understanding of their characteristics and cultures.

During the camp, both colleges held a plaque unveiling ceremony, marking the establishment of a joint talent cultivation base between China and Malaysia. This laid a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in teaching, research, and other areas between the two institutions. Additionally, students had the opportunity to explore famous tourist attractions in Malaysia, such as the Red House in Malacca, the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the Royal Selangor Tin Museum, the Kuala Lumpur Royal Palace, and the Pink Mosque, experiencing the rich historical and cultural heritage and the charm of Malaysia’s diverse culture.

Finally, we express our sincere gratitude to the research group from Zhejiang Financial College, as well as to all the teachers and students who contributed their efforts and actively participated in the activities. Looking forward, we hope to further strengthen communication and cooperation, jointly promote deeper collaboration between the two colleges in teaching, research, and other fields, and make greater contributions to cultivating outstanding talents and advancing academic progress. May we have more exciting exchange activities in the future and grow together to create a brighter future!
